Be Teachable

At times, it is difficult to humble ourselves and learn something new.
In our walk to serve Yah in spirit and in truth, we must be attentative students and learn new concepts quickly.
“He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.”
Proverbs 10:17
All of our instruction comes from the Most High and is sent through the Ruach Qodesh (Holy Spirit) to help us navigate the narrow path.
“But the Comforter, which is the Ruach Qodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
John 14:26
Knowing the voice of the Ruach Qodesh is the key to making sure we are taking the right steps, which is a learned skill that requires discernment. A prudent ear is a gift from the Most High, which helps us hear only the instruction of Yah and disgregard any false doctrine. In your journey on the narrow path, many false teachers will arise in order to test you and your devotion to Yah’s word and his word alone.
The false teachers will come in the form of pastors, Hebrew Israelite camp leaders, vain biblical interpretation books, tantalizing religious movies, random YouTubers and more. The key is reading Yah’s word often, praying for understanding and filtering out the philosophies of man.
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after HaMashiach (Christ).”
Colossians 2:8
When we hear the instruction from Yah, we need to be willing to change in a moment’s notice. Imagine yourself being back in school and think about what it truly takes to be an ‘A’ student. Studying often, asking your teacher for help and correcting yourself based on their guidance are the tactics used keep that A+ grade. As a student of Yah and Yahushua, we are instructed to implement the same strategies to bear fruit in Yah’s classroom.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto Elohim , a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
James 1:5
“The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.”
Proverbs 15:31
The reproof of life. That’s what Yah’s word is and that is what his spirit gives us. Yahushua is the Master Teacher, because he is an embodiment of Yah’s word. He is the word made flesh, and he was sent to show us how to not only understand Yah’s word, but to enact it the way it was intended to be enacted.
Study. Ask. Change.
Study Yah’s word in order to rightly divide the truth. Ask for guidance on how to implement his word in your life the correct way. Change when the Ruach tells you to change, and don’t hesitate to do a complete 180 degree turn if you haven’t been doing something correctly.
I pray you continue on the narrow path in meekness and sincerity and allow the Ruach Qodesh to guide your steps.
HaleluYah!
